That's right, it's that time of the year again! For those of you who don't know, I'm turning 21 on the 26th of April, which means my wishlist game is stronger than ever (and also far larger). Wishlists are seriously my life and I tend to add as much as possible into them, just to make sure I have options in case something is out of stock by the time I go purchase it online. So today I'm sharing with you my incredibly long (84 items to be precise!) wishlist for my birthday, consisting of both clothes and beauty related items from all over the internet (Ebay, Colourpop, Topshop, Boohoo -- just to name a few). Overall, I'm looking for mostly clothes, considering I've been splurging a lot on my makeup collection thanks to this blog, so I'm stacking up on clothes versatile enough for both Spring and Summer, while also delving into the lovely world of Colourpop lippies. I hope you enjoy and please let me know what your top picks are from this whole post, it will help me narrow everything down when the time comes!
I don't know about you, but here in Portugal, the heat is finally coming back to pay us a visit, just in time for Spring to "officially" begin! That's why it was only fitting for today's daily stylespiration to be all about how to incorporate Spring and Winter into one outfit.
Obviously, even if the temperatures have gone up a little bit, it's certainly not Summer or anything near it. Hence why going full on short shorts and tank tops would most likely end up with you getting a stuffy nose as soon as those temperatures drop.
Personally, this time of the year is always the time I end up getting sick, mostly because I can't dress accordingly to the weather outside and not just my wishful thinking of an early Summer. Over years of trial and error, I found that the best way to dress appropriately for this season is to go light in layers but not in colours. In case you don't know, darker colours retain more heat (hence why we were always told to wear light colours in the Summer, since those don't absorb as much heat). So by wearing darker clothes, you're still keeping all the warmth on you, while wearing those beloved short shorts.
This is why I've chose this lace embellished dipped hem black shirt from Romwe (you can find it here). While the lace and somewhat cropped style gives off a more girly, Spring vibe, the colour and sleeve length will make sure you don't freeze when you realise it wasn't as warm as you expected it to be.
You can never go wrong with a floral pattern for Spring, which is why I had to include it into this outfit. This skort from Miss Selfridge is perfect for everyday, but you can easily dress it up for any occasion with the right pair of shoes and accessories (you can find it here).
As for the shoes, since it's still somewhat cold outside, booties are always a perfect choice, especially if they have cut outs like this pair from Nasty Gal (find it here). They're not as heavy as your regular black boots, but they're still appropriate for Spring.
Finally, accessories are key for Spring, hence why you need to make sure you're protected from those nasty sun rays. A pair of sunglasses is essential now that the sky is clearing up. I chose a simple pair for Mango, very affordable yet cute (find them here). A hat is optional, but I've been falling in love with them lately, and if you're anything like me, you're sick and tired of your head burning up after a few hours out under the sun. Floppy hats are a personal favourite, but any cute hat will do (I went with one from Barneys that you can find here).
I hope you all enjoyed this post and hopefully got some inspiration for this unstable weather days up ahead! I know I will struggle, but together we can make it through the season without getting those dreaded stuffy noses, I'm sure. Don't forget to leave a comment down below, I'd love to hear more from you guys, and as always, there will be a new stylespiration post up on Friday!
Just because it's freezing, doesn't mean we can't wear dresses, am I right? Personally, I've never been a big fan of dresses - mostly because I never found the right one for my body shape and that suited my personal style. However, as I grow older and wiser, I realised I love both t-shirt dresses and sweater dresses. There's just something about a baggy dress that is more fitted on my arms that just makes me swoon. Hence why today's stylespiration post is all about the almighty sweater dress.
I picked a simple grey one from Chic Nova (you can find it here), that is great for this time of year since it will keep you nice and warm while still looking like you made an effort into your outfit.
To make sure you don't freeze your legs off, try pairing the dress with some knee high socks (like this pair from H&M). Of course, if you prefer, you can just go with some tights; the choice is yours!
As for the shoes, I had to go with some classic black boots - you may have noticed they're a personal favourite of mine - like these from Lipstik (you can find them here). The heel is optional, although this particular pair doesn't even have a big heel. I prefer my boots to be chunky and with a good heel, mostly because I believe it makes my legs look slimmer - so if you're struggling with that, heels are your best friend.
Top the look off with an army green jacket if it's really cold outside. I went with a thin cotton trench coat from CiChic (you can find it here) since I hate pairing a baggy dress with a baggy coat, it ends up making you look wider and heavier than you really are; hence why a more slim, form fitting coat works wonders (or a more form fitting dress, if you're planning on sticking with a baggy coat).
Don't forget to take your favourite black bag; I chose this small tote bag from Mango (you can find it here).
And there you go! A perfect Tuesday outfit, guaranteed to keep you warm and stylish all day long. I hope you enjoyed this post and don't forget to leave a comment with your feedback.
Hello everyone! I'm so sorry this post took longer than expected to arrive, life got in the way and I ended up having absolutely no time to even breathe this past week. Thankfully, I managed to find the time to write this up just before my second semester of uni starts, because it would be unfair to keep you all waiting any longer. As promised, here's the second part to my haul (you can read part one here, which consists of beauty products only)! Also, for this post, I decided to let the images speak for themselves, so don't expect a lot of writing besides the prices and where I bought the items.
Crop Top: 9,99€ from Pull & Bear
Cropped T-Shirt: 1,99€ from Pull & Bear
Loose Fitting Cropped T-Shirt: 9,99€ from H&M
Baggy Knitted Sweater: 17,99€ from Mango
Tweed Cardigan: 19,99€ from Pull & Bear
Tweed Jacket: 9,99€ from Pull & Bear
Army Jacket: 7,99€ from Pull & Bear
Bag: 17,99€ from Lefties
And that's the end of part two of my massive sales haul! I'm super pleased with every single thing I bought, they have all become items I wear on a regular basis. I'm especially happy with the jackets, which were all originally over 60€, so it was definitely a bargain. I hope you guys enjoyed this and, as always, I'll see you guys next Monday with a brand new post!
Hello everyone! Today's post is a first in my blog, a celebrity style for less. Now, if you followed my posts since early on last year, then you know I started a series entitled"Celeb Style Inspiration of the Week". Although I loved that series, I don't think it's useful, since most of us can't afford the same clothes as celebrities. That's why I'm transforming that series into this one, in an effort to bring better content to all of you and hopefully show you new brands or clothes that you can actually afford, in a way you can recreate these outfits for the cheapest price I could find.
For today's post, I decided to choose the lovely Vanessa Hudgens. I believe her style is amazing, very diverse and comfortable. I tried to gather a diverse selection of outfits that are perfect for everyday. Also, the prices will be in euros but I will have links for the clothes so you can find out how much they cost in your country/currency.
The first outfit is perfect for this time of year, in my opinion. It's a mix of edgy with girly and I believe it can be tweaked to your liking too. For example, if you don't like the flower print dress, feel free to change it to a plain dress or even a top and a skater skirt, Leather jackets aren't your style? Switch it with a knitted cardigan that will still keep you warm, while also making your overall look a lot more girly and soft! Overall, the whole outfit will cost you 88.58€,
Jacket (Only)
Socks (Bare Necessities)
Boots (Overstock)
Dress (New Look)

The second outfit is perfect for everyday, whether you're going to school, work, or just going out. It's very comfy, but also very stylish. It can also be dressed down -- just switch the heels for some black booties and you're good to go! The hat is optional too, in case you're not a fan. As for the jeans, you can easily fold one of yours at the ends to get a similar look, without having to go out of your way to purchase a new pair. Overall, the whole look will cost you 96.95€.
Jeans (River Island)
Shirt (American Eagle)
Crop Top (New Look)
Hat (Bohoo)
Heels (Amazon)
The third outfit is a lot more sophisticated, which means it's not exactly ideal for everyday, but it's a great alternative for going out or a special occasion. Of course, if you want to make it a lot more appropriate for everyday, just switch the skirt to a plain black midi skirt and switch the heels for some sandals. Overall, the whole look will cost you 90€.
Two Piece Dress (Lolli Couture)
Bag (Miss Sweety)
Heels (Amazon)
The fourth and final outfit is very cosy and also perfect for this time of year. It's not for all tastes, of course, but thankfully it's very versatile and you can easily custom it to make it your own. You're not a big fan of maxi skirts? Just switch it for your favourite pair of jeans! Not too fond of the whole white colour scheme going on? Feel free to change any of the pieces to a similar piece in another colour -- some black boots, for example. Overall, the whole look will cost you 92.28€.
Sweater (Mango)
Boots (Black Five)
Maxi Skirt (Overstock)
Beanie (Uniqlo)
And that's the end of today's post! Did you like it? I'm thinking of bringing these kinds of post at least once every two weeks, depending on how much people like it. If you have any suggestions for celebrities or maybe even characters from a certain show, feel free to send them to me via Twitter or by commenting on this post. Also, let me know which of these outfits was your favourite! Mine was the third one, though I would probably find myself wearing the first or fourth one more often.
