Hairspiration #2

Here we go again! If you follow me on Twitter, you probably already know I'm going to the salon tomorrow. Since last time I went there, I posted a hairspiration post for what kind of goals I had for my new hair, I figured it was only fitting I'd share with you my inspiration for this trip as well. Unlike last time, I won't bombard you with loads of pictures that served as inspiration - we're keeping things concise and minimalistic this time around, to avoid confusing myself, you guys and my hairdresser!

Before I share with you my inspiration pics, first let me show you where my hair is at right now and what I'm hoping to get from this trip to the salon.

As you can see from this collection of selfies in various lighting (and filters), my hair is mainly this strawberry blonde/chestnut shade, with very blonde tips and ever so present dark roots peeking. It isn't ideal, but it was the closest I could get to my last hairspiration post considering my budget at the time. Thankfully, this time around since we're getting closer to my birthday, my lovely mom is going to treat my this trip to the salon, so she lets me go all out. Now onto what I hope for the results!

To put it very simply, I want the colour of the picture on the left, while also getting the cut and style of the picture on the right. Even though I'm loving my hair with zero layers, I found that since it's so thick, my roots are getting insanely oily if I air dry them, and since I don't want to further damage my hair by blowdrying it every single time I shower, I decided to go for layers once more, in the hope it will help my roots chill the F down! I'm going for a very simple look this time around, totally different from my last hairspiration post, but still maintaining one key idea - going blonde! Something I, sadly haven't been able to do to its full potential yet, but fingers crossed third time's the charm! I'll be sure to update you tomorrow on Twitter, Snapchat (@amazeinstyle) and Instagram, so be sure to check those out to see the result.
